The year is turning and 2012 is coming soon!
In hindsight we can say “It was a very good year!”
The band made a lot of progress and with our new album coming out in January 2012 we will perform live on stage more often than ever before.
You can’t wait for the album?
So, get yourself the single and rock with us at home!
In the last month a mass of compositions and ideas where developed by Norman and me. If we could we would go back to the studio right away to record the next album because we think, the best place for all this stuff running from our fingers are your ears!
I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
See you at our first gig of the 2012 “Mondial House” tour in the Jazzkeller in Krefeld.
You know, it’s one of those days, when you have to load all that heavy stuff into the van,
fighting with the “Evil Machine” and a set of 4X12 speakers. Almost damned near to getting your
hand and feet crushed or having your spine broken into peaces.
And if that wasn’t enough we had to jam the van in a parking spot that might have been suitable for a pram…
So our last gig at the Café de Weegbrug started kind of painful.
But all that hard work paid off at the end, when the joint was rocking and dancing to our songs
as if there was no tomorrow.
Daniel, our drummer had to be replaced by Simon for that gig because of a double booking.
But no need to worry, Simon played an electrifying 2 ½ h set with a big drum solo in the middle
of Moonchild, one of our Rory classics. Thank you Simon, you did a great job that night.
I am really looking forward to play at Cafe de Weegbrug again.
A very awesome location and a good recommendation for lovers of handmade music!
Hi all
and welcome to my first blog!
It's no fun to do a photoshooting in an empty, icy warehouse, with no more than
two radiators and the heat from the light!
So we where shivering the whole day long and the girls had a lot of work, covering red noses in pale faces and serving tea and coffee! (Well, some of the pale faces might also be a result of the party the night before...)
Despite that we had a lot of fun and I think the results justify all the exertions.
With the new photos Norman was finally able to complete his work on our new homepage, which is indeed a big step forward for the band.
With the homepage now finished we got also time again to brew and cook some new songs and we can't await to step into the holy sound bakery of Spacelab Studios, where Moschus is already wating for us.
We will perform some miracoulous dishes for you! Tasty, mouth watering and ready to be put into your oven.
So heat up your stereo and wait for the new specialities from the Wrecking Company's kitchen.
For those of you who can't wait anymore, we will do some very fine gigs, where most of the new songs can already be heard live. So, before your hunger for bluesrock get's unbearable, meet us in Conny's Come in, on the 22. of January.
Bon Appetit !
